About Us

Debbie Harris is the Manager and Nursery Teacher at Park Place Day Nursery. When asked about the ideas behind Caring, Fun and Learning she replied.

“We knew from the outset that the Nursery had to have these core values as a children's centre. But rather than just using words, we looked at what made these values work. Caring is provided by choosing only the right staff. All our staff are dedicated to childcare and are led by my expertise in Early Years.

Fun is an investment in each child with a wide range of age-appropriate toys and games together with freedom of developmental expression.

Learning is provided through our holistic approach. We endeavour to create appropriate learning environments to maximise each child’s potential achievements.”

Debbie has over fifteen years of experience in teaching early years in schools and nurseries. Her real world teaching methods are complemented by her extensive training portfolio and care- focused approach to teaching.
